Infrared Safety Beams (Photocells)
All the systems we install include a pair of infrared safety beams which will prevent the gates from closing on a person or vehicle when the beam is blocked. These are the primary safety device for any automatic gate or barrier installation.
Safety Edge
A safety edge is a rubber seal with a microswitch strip that runs along the leading edge of the gate. If the gate comes into contact with an object while closing, the microswitch immediately reverses the motor.
Loop Detectors
Loop detectors installed in the ground detect the presence of a vehicle, preventing the gate from closing while a vehicle is within the safe zone.
